Thank you for visiting our clinic’s website.
My name is Masataka Hashimoto, and I am the director of Hashimoto Dental Clinic.
One of my favorite words is “fate.” Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to encounter many meaningful connections.
I was born and raised in Nara. Through a mentor I met in Kobe, I was introduced to Kyushu, which led me to Fukuoka, where I dedicated myself to studying dentistry for three years. During my time in Fukuoka, I learned a fundamental lesson that continues to guide my practice: “Never give up on saving a single tooth.
”At Hashimoto Dental Clinic, this philosophy is at the heart of everything we do. Preserving our patients’ natural teeth is always our top priority. Having built connections across both Kansai and Kyushu, I chose to open this clinic here in my hometown of Nara. I look forward to continuing this journey, cherishing every new connection that fate brings my way.
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
You may have advanced cavities or inflammation of the tooth nerve. If left untreated, it will worsen, so we recommend that you visit us as soon as possible.
If cold or hot things are sensitive to your teeth, it may be due to hypersensitivity, early cavities, or periodontal disease. Find the cause and deal with it with an appropriate diagnosis.
A part of the tooth is damaged due to trauma, advanced cavities, deterioration of old fillings, etc. Not only is it a cosmetic problem, but if left untreated, there is a risk of infection and further damage, so treatment is necessary.
We bleach your teeth with chemicals without grinding them down, aiming for a natural whiteness. We also have a special treatment room dedicated to whitening.
If you would like to make your silver fillings ceramic, please leave it to us. We perform precise formation using a microscope.
If your wisdom teeth or surrounding teeth hurt, or your gums are swollen, extraction may be considered. We can perform tooth extraction in our clinic, so please feel free to consult us.
Inside the tooth is a part called the "dental pulp" that is filled with blood vessels and nerves. Treatment related to this pulp is called endodontic therapy. Teeth that require endodontic therapy already have advanced cavities, so if left untreated, they will have to be extracted. For this reason, endodontic therapy can be considered the "last resort to save the tooth."
In general, the success rate of endodontic therapy in Japan is said to be low among developed countries, but at our clinic, the director, who completed the endodontic specialist training program at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States, uses a microscope to perform treatments, allowing us to achieve success rates on par with those in Europe and the United States.
Are you experiencing sudden dental problems during your business trip, travel, or temporary stay in Japan? Don’t give up thinking, “I can’t get treatment because I’m only here for a short time…” — our clinic offers emergency and temporary dental care for travelers and short-term visitors.
We provide efficient, high-quality treatment tailored to your symptoms, schedule, and needs. Through a prior consultation, we’ll understand your concerns and available time, then propose the most suitable treatment plan. Let us help you manage your dental emergency, so you can enjoy your time in Japan with peace of mind and a healthy smile.
We will create a detailed treatment plan to suit your schedule and provide intensive treatment. Even for treatments that require multiple visits, we aim to shorten the treatment period by extending each visit.
We respond quickly to urgent symptoms such as pain and swelling, and problems such as loose fillings. With short-term intensive treatment, it is possible to alleviate symptoms and proceed with fundamental treatment at the same time.
With Japan's advanced medical technology and equipment, we can meet a wide range of needs, including cavity treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery. Why not make the most of your valuable time in Japan and regain a healthy and beautiful mouth?
